 About Me

I found Pilates in 1998 when I was struggling to recover post-partum.  Consistent Pilates helped me recover from numerous injuries along the way including knee surgery.  The strength and joy I found in Pilates led me to Yoga, Aerial Yoga and Aerial Dance.  For some reason I am happiest when I am hanging upside down!  When I am not in the studio working out I am either cooking up vats of soup for my family, fanatically gardening, sprinting dog agility courses with my crazy fast dogs or hanging out with my gaggle of cats!

I have spent many hours studying with the following fabulous Pilates schools:

- Articulate Eye Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training (2005)

- Power Pilates Comprehensive Bridge Program (2010)

- Polestar Pilates Comprehensive Bridge Program (2011)

- Polestar Pilates Advanced Program - 104 hours of specialty courses including

Pilates for Neurological Rehab, Women's Health, Scoliosis, Gait Analysis and

Pathokinesiology of the Lumbar Spine, Upper and Lower Extremities.

- The Pilates Center of Boulder Co. Masters Program (2013)

- Ellie Herman Pilates Teacher Training Bridge Program (2014)

- The Madeline Black Method Series 1 and 2 (2020)

I trained with Faith Hunter of Embrace Yoga (Washington D.C.) for both my 200 and 300 hour YYT programs in 2011 and 2012.

My Aerial Yoga training journey began with AirCat Aerial Yoga in Boulder Co. in 2011 (level 1) and 2012 (level 2.)  I continued with Om Factory in NY, completing the Comprehensive Program and the Advanced Instructor Training in 2018.

In addition, I am a Master Certified Health Coach with the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute as well as an IIN certified health coach - the Institute of Integrated Nutrition, specializing in nutrition and holistic wellness.  I am certified in Hormone Health with IIN as well.
